The Foundation for the Preservation and Advancement of Bridge (FPAB) was
established in 2008 to address a variety of goals important to the continuation
of the legacy of the great game of contract bridge:
- To preserve bridge history by collecting and displaying artifacts and stories
under the aegis of the Bridge Museum located at the headquarters of the
American Contract Bridge League (ACBL).
- To maintain and protect the vast literature of the game in the Contract
Bridge Library, also housed at ACBL headquarters.
- To recognize individuals for their skills or service to bridge through
the Bridge Hall of Fame.
- To encourage and inspire the participation of youth by means of scholarships
and grants .
The FPAB is a 501(c)(3) organization governed by an independent Board
of Trustees, which means that donations are tax deductible. To inquire,
